My Zune 2 has been doing this thing for months on end. If I restart it or put it to sleep by pressing the back key and down on the squircle it fixes it, but it just starts to happen again later. I have tried to completely reinstall the software on the Zune itself by pressing the back, squircle and the play/pause button when its restarting but it just starts happening again.

Anyone know whats going on?

P.S. I am not controlling it by using a remote or something, its a software glitch of some sort I think. If anybody knows please answer me !

Thank You

  • oh, and I have a new warranty that ends 7 months after the old one :D

  • Well thanks for all the help guys. I received a brand new Zune originals today w00t!!

  • would it still do that if you turned the touch off? cause it seems that the buttons got smashed and it is stuck or something.

  • Yea it would, but then i couldn't click up down or side to side.

  • huh idk. u called tech support? well support will just think ur screwing with them. can you try restoring the device? just search zune restore or something, and that should get it back to brand new state.

  • Yeah... I said I did that. I didn't call Tech support though and I brought up a claim since it is still under warranty, now just to pray that they can fix it in a reasonable amount of time.
