i agree with arthwollipot.. its so easy to get into gaps if you have a shield... you bash everything out of ur way until you get the opportunity to kill them.. that can take minutes if not seconds. it would be boring for people watching unless both were incredibly skilled fighters.

hmm i don´t find it as a good duel. i do historical fencing and i call all fencers like they are as noobs and why ? because they do not do it historicaly !!! Look on those "cuts" on shields ! fuck men ! the shield uses man for cover, not for that you did there...it was cuts on the shield not on the body...bleeeee

Of course it's not a duel. It's a show - a performance - a public display intended to get children interested in history.
If we were using *real* techniques, the fight would be very short and boring.
