i just got this traxxas slash what shud i buy for it first i cant get a lipo atm

if its all stock the top speed is 30mph with a 7cell battery and the included pinion gear

play with the throttle trim, same thing happend to me. turn it all the way to the right if its on 70/30 and all the way to the right or close to all the way if on 50/50

about 35mph so it figures up 56kmh atleat thats what traxxas puts on the box

most people are running a 2s 5000+mah lipo pack.... if you want an edge run a 7cell nimh pack. just watch your motor temps.

Don't listen to that guy. You can run lipo stock. Just check specs to see how big of lipo you can run.

Its a stock class but they do allow lipo batteries. I'm not sure which are allowed but pretty much all of them use lipo. Stock motor stock everything else pretty much. I think they allow pinion shock caps and one or two other things to be changed out. I don't drive I just film. Its been a couple of years now since I raced.

How do they keep trak of the scoring? Like timing and stuff.

AMB transponders and timing system. Just like the big boys. There is a loop buried under the track and when the cars come over it the time gets sent to the computer where it is displayed to the race director and printed off after a race for posting on the scoring board. You either use 'track' transponders or buy your own personal transponder and attach it to your car.

Its wmv V9 deinterlaced bitrate on the video part is 1024K and the audio is 128K. That makes a 30mb or so file for 5 minutes so you could go more on the bitrate and still be under the 100mb limit. Deinterlacing is the main thing. Anything going onto the net needs to be deinterlaced I use the interpolate fields switch on Vegas most of the time. But if that doesn't give good results I can do that clip with fieldskit. Sometimes I do the whole thing in fieldskit
