Heh, from time to time I see shoes over electricity lines, always think of this movie. And bits of this song often pop into my head, 'stand up straight and tall just like he (beat) taught you to.'

Deadly satire.

Eerie similarities between fantasy and reality. Fantastic film. Depressing, but fantastic.

It shows drug dealing spots. Depending on the type of shoe it can mean any type of drug.

This movie is absolutely stunning! Only Network is as good a satire of the modern media business and its connection to public opinion and politics; always when I saw a crisis in the media Im thinking of this movie. I also cant understand all this complaining and whining about the cheap mass production of American film industry as this rare jewels are far more than just a compensation for movies like Forest Gump. To be frank: I havent seen a movie like this in European cinema so far.
