@Staticnz What an odd comment. Bush is authorized by Congress to use the armed forces pretty much at his discretion and then you say his discretion went too far? The term "at his discretion" meant just that. Were you there when the vote took place to know what the original authorization allowed?

Do you think being kept in the dark everyday in a hot room and repeatedly told by people brandishing weapons that they are going to kill you soon is not torture? Because that is, it just isn't physical torture...psychological torture exists and is very real, and if you don't agree, you must be an inhuman robot. So what do you know of humanity?

@mcv47 the members of the media that have done it have said it is torture. The military, generals, and all experts (except right wing hacks), agree it is torture. It is torture.
And like I said watch the film 'Taxi To The Darkside'. There they outline beatings, including a standard technique of kicking prisoners in the legs, sleep deprivation, sexual assault, chaining prisoners arms to the roof so they have to stand until they are in agony, etcetera, etcetera.
