  • I first heard KBB on Q1O7 on their Psychedelic Sunday show (Corrina Corrina). Never knew the name of the song or the Artist. So I called the station, spoke with the DJ and he told me it was KBB after I hummed/sang him a bit of it. Spent months in the larger music stores trying to find his material. Finally found "Badly Bent" in a little CD shop on Queen W. He died two months later. This is the only "live" performance I've ever seen him do. Thanks coolfoolthebook, for a treat as sweet as honey.

  • Sorry about that, Paul Panzak!

  • Richard, Kelly Jay, Alex McDougall (lead), Sean O Halloran (bass) Sonny Del Rio (sax) Rick Panzak (drums)....Your"re Welcome

  • Yeah! Finally someone started uploading some of his stuff! I can't get enough of him. Never could. Best harp player ever! Still got my copy of Gooduns in the gunny sack in excellent condition. Thanks for uploading this one!

  • wow what memories of the Grange Tavern in the Hammer

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that's Kelly Jay tickling the ivories and one of the founding member of Canada's own Crowbar. Richard also jammed with Crowbar as well. RIP Mr. King Biscuit Boy ...

  • Actually this is "Blue Light Boogie". Thanks for posting!

  • @BainDH You;re right. Also an instrumental version by Cozy Eggleston was released on States called The Big Heavy and was "The Hounds theme`.

  • Great and rare clip -- more! more! -- but the song title is actually "Blue Light Boogie," as originally done by Louis Jordan. "House of Blue Lights" is a totally different song.
