Ogilvy 's specialist Broadcast PR team in London was tasked with developing & executing an integrated broadcast and digital campaign to help maximise global awareness for the 20th World Scrabble Championship. The objectives were to increase the link between the game of Scrabble and the championship and position the game as an educational tool. Built around the delivery of the brand's key messages and the development of tailored story angles, OPR's campaign ensured the event was positioned as a significant news story in the target, top-tier markets of the UK, New Zealand, India, Malaysia Australia and China.
