the problem wasnt the throw it was that the kite was about 20 degrees upwind, it was gonna drift back in the power zone no matter what. Notice zero line tension which means the kite is too far upwind. This is a pretty common mistake even with experienced kiters it happens maybe the wind direction has shifted. If you do get launched like this keep the kite low, and when it falls back into the power zone, sit down and let the kite drag u forward a bit, the kiter here powered the kite up
