These are actual 16mm home movies films made by the Late Robert G. Sage, SR. of Reading, PA. There were 12 Reels of movies from the late 1940's through the 50's. I bought these 16mm Films at a yard sale last year. I trasferd them through a freind of mind who dose it for a living. Next film will be of the Pennsylvania Railroad so stay tune. I hope you enjoy.

  • The shot of that center cab pushing that freight was priceless. I just wish there was more, but thanks for posting this. I've been looking for an actual film of one at work.I'm assuming it's a Baldwin but those trucks look like Alco.To me anyway.Did Lima build any center cabs?

  • TheZepmeister , Lima did when they merged with Baldwin.

  • What station was that at 1:23? It looks like either Washington or Hoboken.

  • St. Louis, MO.

  • At 1:09, what railroad is that? Looks more like the SP Daylight

  • Thanks for the Spirit of St. Louis, because my dad was Conductor for 3 years when the PennCentral was organized 1968-71 and I only have photos but no fii

  • Thanks a million for showing the Spirit of St Louis at its namesake terminal.

Our family vacationed every year at St. Louis and that station was the most facinating place. I wish there was more from that time period from such a great station. Thanks again.
