@youllgrowonme Anyway, sorry for the novel in response... lol. I appreciate your viewpoint :)

@youllgrowonme And that is somewhat of a silly remark asking "how can you respect Bjork for being with him". I don't "hate" Matthew Barney, i dislike his self absorbed art. That has nothing to do with Bjork as a person nor her own talents but i "do" think he has had a negative influence on here which has affected her music negatively.

@youllgrowonme To cap it off, there are always sub cultures of every artistic endeavour and you will always get people proclaiming and agreeing that a man like Barney is an artistic genius despite the fact they may not believe so, so that they can fit the fake mold and be accepted as they themselves as "intelligent" for such a proclamation. They will say "you really get it", whilst you look around and what you consider the "common" people inferior. That is "not" what art is.

@youllgrowonme He simply didn't live and has not lived the life of a person for whom had the influence of a stable disposition so consequently you have those "arty" types for whom have followed his background in reality and in interest directly all believing he is the Messiah of the art world.
If he had of not been introduced to the art scene and been forced to get a real job (i know he modeled) with real people then i highly doubt he would be doing what he is doing.

@youllgrowonme We are a product of our environment. Bjork grew up in a somewhat isolated place that had some outside western punk influence to crept into Iceland but her life was that of a simple girl that was grounded in nature and the hard manual workers of her native country. Barney was the product of a child raised in an environment for which the surreal interpretation were all around him through an introduction.

@lillulia use 'shazam' app or 'soundhound' app on your phone to try and figure it out. i do not know. good luck. :)

@blade004 ... have you SEEN his work though? have you heard about what he was before, and the way he makes his art? depressing imagery? its the most creative, imaginative thing ive ever seen. how can you respect bjork then for being with that man whom you hate?

@jesusonamotorbike or a quarterback who sings.

@youllgrowonme Bjork is a true talent, she is truly unique and completely unto herself whilst being very grounded. Barney on the other hand is a fucking idiot and with him around one can only hope that Bjork's kids don't end up harming themselves due to the depressing imagery bestowed upon them by Barney.

the guy singing at 1:20 sounded like popeye
