How a laser works, by Berlin Optik Student Chapter.
See http://www.berlinoptik.de/ for more information.

This video is a contribution to the LaserFest Laser Graffiti Competition by the Optical Society of America (OSA), the American Physical Society (APS) and the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE).

Inspired by the laser marker software from Graffiti Research Lab Vienna, we developed our own laser graffiti code with new features like the laser dart and the laser simulator shown in the video. Note that the laser simulator (and everything else) is really controlled by the laser pointer. It's not a fake.

Music by "Hausvogteiplatz Hausband" (intro scenes) and "Revolution Void" (exhibition scenes).
