Kenya's tourism industry is slowly recovering from the global economic crisis, with the sector showing strong growth in 2011, despite recent political, economic and security challenges. According to recent data from the Kenya Tourism Board, visitor numbers hit an all-time high in the first nine months of this year, rising 16 percent to 1.04 million by the end of September. The Kenyan government is positive that this could reach 1.3 million by year-end. ABN's Lee McCabe compiled this report.
