Here we have a large, upright coin-operated Symphonion Disc Musical Box with Bells, which plays a huge 27.5" disc with projections for the bells as well as the musically tuned combs.
This model is the Style 118, which has 167 notes in the comb, plus 12 saucer bells, and manufactured by Symphonion of Leipzig, Germany (a competitor to Polyphon) in 1899.
The tune being played here is the Aria of Margareta from Gounod's Faust.
What a beautiful and amazing box.. Thanks for bringing this to us..... :D
