Rhinoceros Party in 2008: 7 candidates, 0.02% of popular vote. Green Party in 2008: 303 candidates, 6.8% of popular vote (941,097 in favour). The numbers speak for themselves.

  • @gonner709 Uh huh, you missed the point of that completely. Sitting around bitching about proportional representation does absolutely nothing. You want change you're going to have to work for it and *gasp* vote for it. Vote for an MP who is supports proportional representation reform. Same with any other issues.

    Do I think politicians represent us completely? No. But not voting just means that someone else gets to choose who represents your riding in parliament for you.
