This is an unnofficial youtube channel which supports the Conservative Party that operates in both the UK parliamentary constituency of North Ayrshire and Arran as well as the Scottish parliamentary constituency of Cunninghame North.

The North Ayrshire and Arran constituency is located in the south-west of Scotland and encompasses the towns of Skelmorlie, Largs, Fairlie, West Kilbride, Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Stevenston, Kilwinning, Dalry, Beith and Kilbirnie as well as the isle of Arran and the Cumbrae isles.

Conservatives strive to keep Scotland as part of the UK and are the only main party that opposes further EU integration. The party currently plans to reform the British welfare system in order to bring more people into employment and to ensure that people are never better off on the dole than they would be in work. They are also planning to put a cap on net inward migration to the UK.

The Conservative Party is currently the largest party in the House of Commons and is the leading partner in a coalition UK government with it's leader David Cameron as Prime Minister. In the Scottish parliament, it is the third largest party with 16 MSP's including Scottish Conservative leader Annabel Goldie, who is a 'list' MSP for the West of Scotland region which Cunninghame North is a part of.

At the 2010 General election, Conservatives in North Ayrshire and Arran were put at a disadvantage because they could not vote for a Conservative MP. The Conservative candidate Philip Lardner made negligent remarks on his website and as a result was expelled from the party. This was too far into the general election campaign to select another Tory candidate so many North Ayrshire and Arran Conservatives ended up not voting at all.

Currently, the MP for North Ayrshire and Arran is Katy Clark of the Labour Party, a self-admitting socialist who voted against renewing Trident, voted against an investigation into the Iraq war and who voted for further European integration. The Scottish parliament seat was won by the SNP in 2007 by a mere 48 votes.

In May 2011, the Scottish parliamentary election will be held and the Conservative candidate for Cunninghame North has been announced as Maurice Golden, a Eurosceptic who has experience in contesting seats at UK and Scottish elections.

I do not represent any Conservative candidate, I merely endorse them. I don't believe in the politics of constantly attacking opponents and so any material that I post to this channel will try to focus more on Tory policy rather than attacking the policy of other parties.

The Falklands is a debate for another time, but even if Thatcher was malicious in the bombing of the Belgrano, that's 323 soldiers - not thousands of men, woman and children. Also, I ask you to name a single racist policy of the Conservative Party and if not, to keep your unjustified, pathetic and juvenile comments away from serious discussion.
