  • To the Swedes of YouTube,

Rest assured that your international viewers an in awe. You have, undoubtedly, one of the best military bands in the world. The standard of drill, intonation and overall sound are impeccable.

  • Had never been to Stockholm before - beautiful city. Saw this when we were there and it's absolutely superb - and great fun!!.. No disrespect to our boys in London - but the Swedes seemed more drilled and together. They do ham it up though, which was a nice surprise - one of the drummers winked at my wife on the way past - (He can have her! - sorry dear..) Highly recommend a trip to Stockholm - we're going back - to see the islands...Well I am - my wife's looking for soldier boy I think !!

  • @ClarkEriksson Okej. My bad.

  • Swedish Armed Forces have the most complete drill on the parade field. The reglementary moves seem to be an hybrid mix of British (and Canadian) and French drills. But the style and sharpness is proper to Sweden. If modern-age armies were still fighting like our ancesters did, the swedish one (as seen now) would be the most efficient by it's speed and precision.

  • What you see in this video is the Royal Swedish Army Drum Corp...a cermonial unit that now has been dismanteled. When active most of them were conscripts doing their military service for...I think...15 months. Apart from playing in the band they also had military training but music was obviously their main task.

  • very good, but a hate when move the camera.

  • I have to admit, they played the instruments well, and the process of changing was fantastic!

  • @ananzi1975 Hey.. It's the changing of the royal guards not the giant match to the battle.
