Pier Giorgio Frassati

A pictorial biography of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, beatified by Pope John Paul on May20, 1990. The young girl in the video is his sister, Luciana Frassati. There is also another picture of Luciana as a young woman standing with Giorgio as well as a portrait of her about midway through the video. The quotes are from Pier Giorgio. He had a great love of the beatitudes so I included these at the end. He died of polio at the age of 24. July 4th is his feast day. This video is dedicated to the memory of my grandson, Aaron John, who died on May 20, 2007 at the age of 21 - on the anniversary of Pier Giorgio's beatification. May 20th is also the date of my First Holy Communion so it is a day with much significance for me.
