@McLarenMercedes I never saw The Messenger, so I'm sure that I don't know. But let's be honest here - it's not like you actually need talent to make it in Hollywood. Arnold Scharwzenegger has somehow managed to build an antire career around the fact that he CAN'T act. He was fortunate enough to be cast in films that were, overall, much better than he was. His contributions to any films that he's appeared in have been minimal at best. But they made money, so he kept getting work.

@McLarenMercedes For the record, I don't make it a point to seek out her work - any woman who makes it a point to show off her naked body in every project she's in is selling something, and it's not talent. I do think she can act, but not necessarily in everything she's been in. And as far as being involved with Luc Besson, he has a habit of getting involved with the actresses in his film. Again, not a selling point for her. It pains to even make the concession, as I'm not a fan.

If she is so talented why did she get the Razzie Award for her acting in The Messenger?

Milla Jovovich and talented don't go in the same sentence.
Her "acting" is one of the most forced and un-natural ever for an actress that doesn't stick to tv-soaps.
Let's be honest here. She's a former model who married Luc Besson and now Paul Anderson (who by the way is known for making crap only kids like). That's the only reason she still is cast, and for the fact that she is the wet dream for all videogame nerds.
She's a female Chuck Norris.
Talented? Geez. Unbelievable.
