A year after the bittersweet Daytona 500, it was time for another classic Speedweeks.

One thing I can't help but notice is NBC's coverage of the pre-race.

1. Cut to the call to start engines, where we see Jeff Gordon already sitting in the car...
2. After chatting in the booth, cut to Jeff Gordon walking to his car with Brooke.... wait. That isn't Brooke, this chick is blonde??
3. A few months later, Brooke files for divorce, stating she saw Jeff with a "svelte, curvy blonde" at the Daytona 500.
4. Jeff says "Thanks for that, NBC...."

I don't usually make my videos this long, but as long as there are highlights to show, I don't really care.

***EDIT***

So... I just saw a picture of Brooke Gordon with blonde hair. Hmm... interestingly enough, I do remember her saying she saw him with a blonde woman. Maybe she didn't recongize herself. lol I am thoroughly confused.

I definitely agree with the Harvick thing...

As for when Marlin spun him, as big a Gordon fan as I am, I kinda thought it was just one of those deals. Yeah, Marlin went down the yellow line, but Gordon going down there to block wasn't that bright, either.

At the same time, if the 24's up out of the groove and the 40 gets black flagged, the damage to the 24 is done. He's been kicked back a few spots by the time they get back to the flag, anyway. :(

Robby Gordon was one of the best in these times?

Couldn't even stay quiet on lap 3 of this race. There was always something going on lap 3!

Kind of like the 2008 Coke zero 400. You think Gordon would have learned his lesson. I knew he was going to wreck himself.

Yeah, there was no shortage of Gordon haters in the late 90's\early 2000's. It's a lot rarer now to see 'em out in full force, mostly because A) people now hate guys who *really* deserve it (like Kyle and Kurt) and B) he's a veteran now, and I honestly think people are starting to appreciate what he did for the sport, and how he did it (with class, and nothing like the spoiled superstar people thought he was at the time).

We'll feel the same about Jimmie in 15 yrs, right? haha
