To the tune of Leonard Cohen's Democracy (is coming to the USA), this 7 minute video—an update of an earlier posting—highlights the expanding scope of the Occupy Movement with many compelling images of events in some unlikely places. Dedicated to Veterans for Peace, the video adds a strong anti-war presence by VFP members at movement events.
Wish Leonard Cohen could visit one of our occupy encampments. Washington, D.C. is still standing.

A tremendous and visionary song, written back when no-one could have imagined what is happening today. The photos bring it all home, and the video is a good place to go whenever you feel alone and abused and misunderstood. There they are, your neighbors, brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers and kids. The are all with you, with their strong breath of courage blowing the flame of hope back to glorious life. It only remains for you to pick up your part of the blanket and OCCUPY!
