@dagnyjetties lol ourselves "fight" is funny but i think they dont try a hurt purposefully other players, more accidents though and more clean hits instead of dirty ones.

Hockey fightning is a part of the game, always have been and like in real life fighters get punished by 5 minute major... but in real life its much different thing though because with a fightning way outside of the rink you might to got thrown out to prison.

@dagnyjetties players dont take their head off, please use a common sense, most of the time the hits by Marchment havent been a criminal ones but sometimes he was cheap yes i can definete agree with you. They arent monsters but i remember one pretty dangerous move by McSorley as i mean his slash on Brashs head which is worst thing which i have seen in hockey. Samuelssons knee hit on Neely was also very low.

@dagnyjetties i watched about 30 second ago that hit by Marchment on Nieuwenduyk, looks more accident and not an attempt to hurt him. Marchments cheap shot on Modano was very bad actually but i say Samuelsson was dirtier as/than Marchment. Marchment was also good guy because he answered for his questionable hits for dropping down his mitts but Ulfie avoided many many battles.

@dagnyjetties MArchment also could to throw a clean hit. his hit on Nieuwendyk looks more about ok or accident. Nieuwendyk got hurted badly but i think it wasnt a knee or anything but a hit with clean way mostly.

@MrJuha82 I'm pretty sure Gartner's collapsed lung felt pretty real. Not to mention the multiple injuries other players sustained because of Marchment's dirty plays. You do realize that injuries occurred on the ice don't magically go away because the game is over right?
