Audrey Wheeler, from Queens, New York, was the lead singer for the post-disco R&B group Unlimited Touch in the early 1980s. After the group disbanded after 1984, Wheeler went on to backing vocals for numerous artists through the 1980's including Najee, Atlantic Starr, Eric Gable, Freddie Jackson, Glenn Jones, James "D-Train" Williams and many more. Wheeler recorded two albums, Let It Be Me in 1987, and I'm Yours Tonight, released in 1991. The singles were had the singles 'Irresistable', 'Forget About Her' and 'This Must Be Heaven (duet with Omar Chandler). She is currently the wife of Jazz/R&B singer Will Downing.
