@bapyou the mountain is "gold butte" that is what we call it here in Overton nv whether that is the technical name i am not sure.....the river is the virgin river which just a few miles down empties into mead

right gives nothing but an excuse to visit your state that is known for..casinos? would you like that better? aren't those irrelevant to surrounding people's ontology? double negative is a monument examining monuments examining the natural landscape. acting in a colonial manner, hardly.

I live in the area, a native Nevadan, but never heard of this until I stumbled upon a recent news account on it. It is a pretty example of modern artistic bluster and effete obscurantism: both irrelevant to the surrounding people's ontology and purposefully alienating of the natural geography. It does nothing well and gives nothing, but takes another rip out of raped land. Artists need understand when they act in a colonial manner.

A conservation crew would do well to bulldoze and reseed it.
