June 22-26, 2011
It's a unanimous opinion that the Mentawai Surf Competition 2011 held in perfect double overhead Lance's Right fanned by offshore winds was the single best day of surfing ever for a Coca-Cola ISC event. Competitors endured 36 hours of travel by bus, plane, bus, ferry and another ferry from the last tour stop in Cimaja, West Java to Lance's Right, Mentawai, Sumatra but the journey was clearly worth it.
