my speedo does the same thing but my temp gauge works

and that aint no 88

unless you took the dash out of somethin 89+

which is quite possibly why your speedo is off

88 the speedo only went up to 85

and either your oil pressure gauge is off or that car pry doesnt run anymore haha

The car is an SSP, ex FHP trooper car, so it came with a calibrated 140 mph speedo.

Water temp and Oil pressure are now mechanical gauges below the radio. So they work just fine

Ha. That thing is slow. The speedo doesnt even move when he gives it throttle holding a gear at a higher rpm. A lot of noise for a snail. Very decieving though. Lol

Definitely a 1988 dash look at 11 seconds in the video (see to the right of the steering column...that's where a lot of the idiot lights are originally on the 88. The steering wheel is definitely out of an 88, just upside down, and the steering column shroud is definitely an 88, as it is more rounded and a 1990 shroud is more flat. I own both years so I would know that much.
