I have one aswell ... Lil project fix-up all the gaskets needed replaced and the valve stem seals ... Sounds the same tho just a cheap made bike start worrying when it puffs blue smoke

Hey - I have this bike (brown and cream though) and it makes this kind of sound all the time, the thing with the Daystar is that it needs time to warm up, let it run for a few minutes, adjust the manual choke to find the sweet spot and you should be able to get it purring easily - I use the warm up time to get my gloves, helmet and jacket on comfortably, and if I'm having a bad day the time really lets me relax - patience! its needs special love :-)
