  • How exactly did you get the yellow and blue W to "fade" in and out?

  • You use a Checkerboard from Generated Media as a Child, and then just Pan it, in Event Pan/Crop, behind a transparent Parent letter W.

  • Yes, I actually got that ^_^. I was more of talking about the effect/transition used. But I think I figured it out. It was Linear Wipe, right?

  • A Wipe transition may work, but I just Panned the blue & yellow box behind the W.

  • if you want to add fx to specific part of a video track, do you have to open it in trimmer or can you edit parts of the video directly?

  • The trimmer window isn't needed. At the end of each clip is an Event FX button to use, although you may have to Split the original clip into smaller clips.
