The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway held a week long event 'The Cotswold Festival Of Steam' in celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Great Western Railway. Due to a landslip trains could only go as far as Gotherington being hauled by single engine from Toddington then top and tailed from Winchcombe. Also during the event, Auto Coach services were hauled over Stanway Viaduct.
