"I Wrote this song for the album when I was listening to alot of the ramones.... the end product really sounds nothing like the ramones... but I was really getting into watching live footage by the ramones at this time... the were good live and like the slide up chord thing they did a fair bit... Like the "I don't wanna be there when the mother fucker snaps" bit of the song... This song and crackhead were both about the same thing... people I knew and uppers... this song really didn't have that many lyrics and I didn't even notice... the riff i nthe bridge was originally written when i was 15.... I listened to alot of tool then and smoked alot of bongs.... ... took the effects off the guitar and played it fast and it sounded cool....
