Increasing your vertical from one leg. Please see the form video that talks mostly about double leg form. This video deals more with single leg vertical jumping form. Penultimate step for vertical jumping form.

Please see my other video about vertical jumping form which will help reinforce this video about 1 leg jumping form. It takes time to learn the form and the best way to go about this is daily practice. Most of you are making the adjustments to your vertical jumping form intuitively however being aware of how it works, and practicing your 1 leg jumping form with greater focus on the penultimate step are going to help you improve.

Keep in mind again my other vertical jump training form videos are going to fill in the blanks so be sure and check them out.

  • you said "long left to right stride then quick right to left" does that mean i should make a long 3rd step then my final two are quick? or just a big 1st to last step then a quick final step

  • @oneonly606 long left to right.... short right to left on the take off... one foot take off..

  • @oneonly606 long to short.

  • Jacob, if you do some 1 legged exercises such as the Bulgarian squats, 1 leg DL, or 1 leg ploys to isolate each leg and strengthen the weaker one, will that transfer to a better two legged jump?

It is just that sometimes doing two legged exercises, I feel like the stronger one is doing more work!

    Thanks

  • @ilikebirds120 yes single leg squats are fine.

  • is the jump manual geared toward one or two legged jump? or does it help both equally?

  • @proteincheese helping both..

I totally agree with you dude! I recommend that

    program found at the site:

    JumpHigher.info

also to any athlete who wants to maximize

their vertical jump and quickness. I tried it myself

and It gave me an intense regimen and gained

    tremendously.

    Thumbs up if this helps.
