If you ever want to challenge yourself to take better videos, buy a better camera and start the learning curve all over again. We tried to get out on a different wreck but the rough weather made us head out to the Dunderburg. I love this shipwreck. There is lots to see and it is really well preserved.

This video was shot with the Canon T1i white balanced and set for available light. The powerful lights of the divers show pink because of the white balance and I couldn't venture below decks because there was no light to be had. I am amazed at how the camera sees stuff in the low light and is able to take such clear and stunning detail. Can't wait to take the system out again.

  • This is still my favorite dive, seven years and thousands of dives later. It was the whole experience--good dive mates, a great wreck, perfect vis, perfect weather, staying with close friends. When I die, take my ashes down there and scatter them around this wreck . . . I know it's illegal, but I'll leave enough money for a spirited defense should your deed be known.

  • Really great video - thanks Rich ;)
