Stopping Shell from drilling the SAC

RPS under Shells instruction are drilling bore holes in a, 'special area of conservation' or S.A.C. which is against EU law. The Garda only want to help them, it's up to Shell to Sea to uphold the law.

Anyway I think, personally, they are fighting a loosing battle. Coillte is government owned, specifically "All of the shares in the company are held by the Minister for Agriculture and Food" so of course they are going to let them drill so they get some of the profits.

An Garda Siochana is a comany, so is The Irish Government and every department in it, go look it up at Dun&Bradstreet. They are all in it for profit, they may say they are there to protect/serve us but that is far from the truth.

Doing their job? What is a Gards job description by the way? I can tell you what it's not, it's not to beat the shit out of Irish citizens just for protesting. What happened to the freedom to protest? Whether it be to stop a pipline being built or workers protesting over pay, we have a right to protest.
