To tell how old it is, first, what is the metal it is made out of? Second the wind screen is a slip over and not a stand inside the wind screen, placing it possibly in the 40's to late 50's. if it is made out of aluminum it places it past 1953.

The Swedish Mess Kit is called the (M/42) according to Wikipedia. The German/Japanese (They used the same during WWII) one is very similar (It's kidney shaped though.) So I think it was around the 40's

If you put some alcohol on that top ridge start up faster also get trig put in the middle of stove to get some alcohol on it the put on ground us the striker to light it then the stove the trig is like a match.

Interesting. It's not Swiss by the way, it's Swedish. Made by Trangia for the Swedish Army so I am told. happy camping
