Hey everyone! Karlobster here with a new and improved fire hands effect video! Again, inspired by freddiew!

The effect was done mostly with 3DS Max with a plugin called fumefx. Now a lot of work was still done in After Effects as the data for where to generate fumes was to come from our clip which we got the alpha matte from. Don't know what I'm talking about? Then please LIKE this video for a tutorial! The video needs about 50 likes for a tutorial because I am unsure if people would want a 3ds Max integration with After Effects tutorial.

Please share the video if you want to get the tutorial faster! :D I'll be covering tips and techniques in rotoscoping in AE, then rendering an alpha matte from AE and importing it to 3DS Max. Then setting up our scene in 3DS Max camera and all. After which we will be playing with Fumefx settings. Then we import it again to AE where I employ some techniques to make it looks more realistic.
