Finis has recently been awarded an USA Patent for Bone Conduction MP3 players for use while swimming we call it the SwiMP3. With the invention of the SwiMP3, 35,000 users are now rocking out to their favorite tunes while they swim. Bone conduction technology transmits high fidelity sound directly to the inner ear enabling swimmers to enjoy what land sports fanatics have for years, their own personal music to train with. A quick overview of how the SwiMP3 works- it transmits messages through vibrations which skip over segments of the communication pathway, eliminating the middle ear and vibrating the cochlea in the inner ear directly.

The SurfP3 is perfect for surfing, wakeboarding, or paddling. It has secure ear buds that make for clear listening above and below the water and includes an adjustable neoprene armband. It is fully sealed and floatable and functional to depths of 25 feet. The Surfp3 plays both MP3 and WMA files with 256MB of memory. It holds approximately 60 songs!

  • @sexypoetry ..i have tried three different brands and all of them had serious issues! it seems to me that really good swimmer mp3 player is not invented yet but i would be very happy if someone can prove me wrong cause swimming and music are my fav things in life...can i really have it together?

  • this is very little memory...and this is second video that i heard saying "especially under water the sound is good"...but i swim, i do not dive...so i presume the sound would be changing quality as i turn the head in and out of water to breather after every third stroke...right? i think i have figured out this correctly because it says in description: "perfect for surfing, wakeboarding, or paddling"....not so perfect fro swimming, right? can anyone recommend the player perfect for swim?
