  • This song is another reason why Thin Lizzy are just so under-appreciated. I can't believe they're not known for more than just The Boys Are Back In Town.

This clip and song just show why Phil was so damn cool. Even though it killed him, the "Leave you with this line" part is great.

  • There is only two words to describe Thin Lizzy: Legends and GODS.

  • @backthisway and huey lewis on the harmonica

  • @RoryDupledorf they're HUGE in europe but not in the US :/

  • I think you will find it was cowritten with Lynott by Jimmy Bain of Rainbow.

  • Why this song wasn't a massive hit I'll never know. :S

Its one of the few TL songs where the guitars are in standard tuning instead of Eb (random fact)

  • ohh yesss Gary Moore sure is there. r i p Phil Lynott. xxxxx

  • Definitely he is! :)

  • is the one of the guitarist there, gary moore?

  • Realy excellent, this was one of my faves from the Black Rose Album in '79, Cheers

  • just incredible!!!!!!!! awesome lizzy rocks forevermore!!!!!

  • Phil Lynott may have been given solitary writing credits on this one, but Gary Moore's influence is stamped all over it. So much so that poor Scott Gorham evidently had to just sit back and settle for rhythm and harmonies. At least they all got a piece of the girl though (LOL) !
