c'mon everthing is going to be fine.. don't worry about this stuff.. we have monday night football, dancing with the stars, american idol, reality television. retards... what alignment.... the closest 3 planets are spinning so fast around the sun in relation to the outer planets and their vast distance and huge orbit, "aligning" if it did occur for a brief moment would do fuk all, and is def not going to happen in 2012... jezz get a telescope...

Comets aren't that big. Unless "comet" is just what they are using as a cover-up for the real thing: a brown dwarf.

Elenin- that's all I have to say. First alignment of the earth, sun, and Elenin: February 27, 2011...Second alignment: March 11, 2011...Third alignment: July 5, 2011... Big earthquakes occurred on these 3 days. The Japan earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011. The fourth alignment will occur on September 27, 2011. This time, Elenin will be in between the sun and Earth. Elenin is supposedly only a comet. In my opinion, how can a comet aligning with the sun and Earth produce an earthquake? Comets

I think the galactic center and the galactic plane are not the same. Earth may be 30m yrs from the galactic center... but, be crossing through the galactic equator or plane. Our planet is warming as are the planets in our solar system... I don't believe in the end of the Earth, but I do believe in the end of an Age... an end of a cycle and the beginning of another.

@kurtispecchenino There is no evidence for "Nibiru" / Planet X. Both professional and amateur astronomers - there are many - constantly scan the sky for newly appearing objects (such as approaching asteroids or supernovae in other galaxies), and a big planet approaching the inner solar system would certainly not go unnoticed.

Maybe these many thousands of people secretly meet once a year, to discuss how the truth is best concealed ;-) Btw, why?

let me get something across to people not only do we revolve around the sun but we also revolve around another solar system. The point im making is its not just are sun that will effect us but the sun from the other system as well. we move in an oval patter around this other system at the point in 2012 are sun and the sun of the solar system we share a patter with. this Plant X in reality is not even part of are solar system it is the end plant of the other.

The point where the Zodiac crosses the Galactic plane is approximately 7 degrees away from the position of the Galactic center. But the effects of precession only affect our local perspective from Earth: Its similar if you do a handstand, the stars will appear upside down, but they will not get a different gravitational pull on you.
