the sunkin tipped planar reminds me of the dogbone unit octahedron. to find this unit look on google images for origami cuboctahedron and click one of the set pictures of a business card unit. then go to the site on go to dogbone unit.

Why is it called Sprinkler? Because the first one I made, the 6 pieces without the sunken tips, reminded me of.... a Sprinkler! (In English: a thing you connect to a garden hose to water your lawn. In Dutch: a thing on the ceiling that produces water when there is a fire.)

well there just being asses(the whiners) because an intellegent person is patient and can pause the video so they can make it, i did that with your omega star one last night, still gotta work on it though. =)

I really don't have any idea why they are called sprinklers, ask Paula Versnick, she named her origami. I'm active, I just started to post my videos to Metacafe because everybody was whining about my sped up videos, and the videos often go over 10 minutes.
