  • What a load of shit. Just imagine if they would mix sugar and color to the water then according to this movie it would be OK since it is not water!!!!! So companies like Pepsi and Coca Cola who literally sell water as a mix of sugar and other chemicals! WTF use your brain and don't just believe any movie.

  • @paddi241 You can live without coke or pepsi or without beer and other processed food. You have a choice to say no to those products. But you cannot live without water. So if a corporation tries to control that very basic resource, you better pay attention.

  • @DokLabCom Well you can as well say no to bottled water and drink tap water. Oh i know there are some countries where they can't drink from the tap but in that case isn't it good that they can buy bottled water? You can't blame companies like Nestle for delievering clean bottled water. Because it's their governement that fails to bring them clean water. Even if they control the well in that specific country they could nationalize it.

  • @paddi241 You are right – it is not that simple in countries, where there isn't clean water supply. Should we blame companies like Nestlé? In the words of Maude Barlow (in the film): "There is no easy short term solution to this (...) but the solution is not a corrupt government combined with a transnational corporation that is out for their own profit – that's the deadliest combination".

  • …We need water as we need air to survive! So good water should be a granted right for everyone! Or will we soon have to pay for the air we breathe?? The principle is the same… think about it!

  • ...And what is not ok is that they try to sell their bottled water even where there's great tap water, in the places where Nestlé takes it from.

Don't be blinded from their "good" action of bringing good water where tap water is undrinkable.

This is good, but on the other side, they do a lot of harm which is not good. Profit-orientated companies hardly will keep a moral balance… We'llnever know the whole truth, but their marketing communication will always show the shiny part!...

  • What is not ok, is that they take most of the water from sorces causing nearby springs to dry out, leaving local farmers without water supplies for their agriculture, as they do for example in Pakistan. Of course bottled water is only a very small part of the world's total fresh water, but that doesn't help the locals… they need it right there, but Nestlé took it away to make profit...

  • - - - And thats a enterprise of Switzerland. shame on YOU! shame on YOU! my country :( As well on the all others profitmaximesers without any responsibility ! ! ! Enterprise- or economic- TERROR ! Real TERROR ! Where people die totaly real ! ! ! Politicians are well bought from the bigbusiness enterprises ! Where is the democracy n the truth gone ? ! ? ! ? ? ? - - -
  • @DokLabCom I agree on your last point. However I find that this movie completely misses it's target. Water especially in the western world is just way to cheap it's subsidized by the government. Brabeck once said there is no human right to have a swimming pool. He explained that everyone should get 25l from the government for free while everything over that u need to pay for it.
