Cape Town Opera plays Tel Aviv amid calls for boycott

The Cape Town Opera is performing Porgy and Bess in Tel Aviv, Israel. On opening night a group of Israeli Peace activists held a flash mob outside the opera house, calling on the performers to boycott Israel. That same night a group of settlers protested the boycott of a new cultural center in Ariel.

the lawyer Emily, who gives an interview, even denounces efforts by other peace groups, Leonard Cohen, and his donations, etc, but again offers no concrete, positive ideas. It is through dialogue, that peace can be finally accomplished,, so to shoot down peace groups, is just plain silly. Sorry, but you have really very little credibility, I was actually hoping for more.

We're in December 2010 and the press is awash with reports on the rise of segregation and discrimination tendencies in Israel, particularly by some jewish right-wing groups. Juts do a quick Google News read on the topic.
