See how well Sony's new Exmor-R CMOS Sensor shoots in low light situations.

  • Please please please: Do a low light comparison between the XR520 and the HC9!

  • The HDR-XR520 Handycam fulfills my demands as regards poorly lighted environments. Its new CMOS EXMOR R represents a substantial improvement over the SR 12 still being sold.

I was genuinely surprised that the digital 24X zoom just slightly degraded the picture. This is probably due to the new 1/2 captor.

  • AND I CARE
