Wetland Blues

I open my eyes and what do I see? I alot of people without hope. It's like Hell with the heat, it's like Paradise without the Lord. (Oooooooh.) Water is everywhere, the land is going away, one day we'll drown like rats, life is hard, harder than ever, I'm-a tell you, it's a crime, baby. (Ooooohhhh...) Boat float from door to door, all they find is death, listen well to what I'm telling you, life today can't be worse.

  • ....did some research on this topic......and this island.  Facinating and sad. Beautiful, beautiful mournful melody that I first thought (not knowing the language) was a story of a dying love affair of some sort, and guess maybe it truly may be. Coming again, for the Acadiene festival from Pensacola, FL, will not miss this new (to me) band. So many of us love La........
