  • The music for this film by Polish composer Zbigniew Preisner is fabulous !!!

  • @kittyscratchesboo : He's not creepy, he's just going through a mid-life crisis !!!

  • @KellyGreen5555 Oh but that is the entire point. He's sexy AND creepy! ;-)

  • @olegbb Agreed. See, u get it this too! I love that Irons and Binoche communicate through their eyes, I mean, as soon as they meet, they just knew. And Binoche wearing all black, no one gets this at first, but her wearing all black does not denote sexiness, but, villainess, she's damaged and damages everything forever with the kiss of death. It's poetic and brilliant and means more than only sex, which is what makes it hot!

  • @olegbb The point of this all is that he is forty-something at this point in life, scared, a little sad, guilty for what he needs. This movie is sort of like a wisdom n warning movie about getting lost in the change of seasons in one's life. It's true.

  • @ilovelego123 It's the sexiest movie on the planet. Go Gen Xer's...this is what got so many of us in trouble...wink, and double winky! ;-)

  • @juniperglimpse Because even if she wanted to and tried, he really doesn't want her.....he had to meet the new chick.

  • @KellyGreen5555 LOL...there is definitely a part of me that understands. You are right in that the accent takes one far. At least to American ears!

  • @NYtoTX

Sorry, but I've always found something about Jeremy Irons unsavory. Take away that accent, and there is nothing left. Very good actor, but ultimately, Irons creeps me out.

  • GOOD GAWD. I would listen to Jeremy Irons read the damn phone book. The man is just delish.

I love this movie and thanks for posting.
