IAMX - Missile

I love Chris Corner and everything he touches is absolutely grand, except the two videos for Missile. They were good but lacking. The song weds well with disturbing imagery but I think a different kind of disturbing than what's in the original videos is needed. I found this short horror film called The Morning Ritual ( http://www.archive.org/details/TMR ) which was very good on its own but when edited together with Missile it, in my opinion, took on a very poignant feeling and became even more so sad and shocking. Missile sort of narrates. I think the song and the film were made for each other.

On a side note: That lady was an excellent choice to play the glossectomized housewife. So creepy and sad. If you need a scary lady for something, hire her ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1578011/ ). No, she's not my granny. I just think she's cool.

i liked the bathtub one but not the sue denim one (hands off my man bitch!!!). But this one is WOw! i cried watching the old lady's face and hearing this song. excellent and effin creepy at the end there!

This was way better than either of the official ones, though I do like the bathtub version... But the symbolism of this is perfect; I feel like it expresses a lot of things that many people need to see expressed.

Really? Cool concept. I guess it has to do with the lady's feelings about their marriage... She seems like the model wife, but is unhappy because her husband in non-communicative. She cut out her tongue to make a point.
