I was sooooo glad Arthur and Gwen finally got together because its meant to be! I've never heard of Arthur and Morgana being together in Legends... I always thought Morgana got with Merlin? Well it doesn't matter...This show is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Hmm Gwen is meant to be the Queen because of politic, not because of love though. The love story was always between Gwen and Lancelot. And nope, usually, it's Morgana/Arthur XD Morgana/Merlin ? It's only in raaare occasions, when she seduce him to learn magic, Merlin is with Vivian or Nimue, the lady of the lake.

IMO this episode was one of the best so far, and better than the previous one.

Though magic is like a character itself in this show, I get that, and we only got to see 2 scenes concerning it, I feel like that is the only thing that was missing in this episode.

I mean, Merlin spoke up, Arthur got his eyes open, we got to see great stunts for the tournament, and I loved to see all the tents and the backstage tricks they pulled. It all looked so real. (though I missed Morgana and the mystery a bit

That's great for you. As far as I am concerned, I was willing to enjoy Arthur/Gwen and what they did with them in 2 episode killed that. Not going to debate there, I'm already doing it on forums, but so many things wrong, with Arthur's devellopment which seemingly disappeared etc.

Bref didn't like it. Now I don't see the point to rant about that here, forums are on the left, episode 2 killed me, I don't need to see comment about that even there when it's so not the subject. The preview is.

@lolipopo Everyone gets with everyone in the legend. Morgana gets with Arthur AND for a brief time Merlin. It also depends which version you look at as sometimes it is Morgana who traps merlin in the tree or cave instead of the lady of the lake.

@Strictlyfan118 but if Morgana kill merlin then this tv-show have to change name. I mean this tv-shows name is merlin and if Merlin dies and not are in this serie anymore they really have to change name... ( srry my english is bad)

HAHA. i can see that this show is made very differently compared to the original legend of Merlin. But it is good to have a change.. and this series is very nice:D

I think Morgana is going to kill Merlin and Mordred is going to kill Arthur. We know Mordred's future with Arthur but that is what I think with Morgana.

There are so many different versions of the Arthurian Legend. In some Morgan(a) is good and in some she is not. Same goes for Nimue!

Merlin is also always A LOT older than Arthur and so on...

I've been obsessed with the stories about King Arthur since I was a child and I really like this show, because it shows a new and different side of the legend! In my eyes, that's very interesting.

And it's one of the VERY few great shows on television!

there are so many versions of the Arther/Merlin legends that I take this show as a whole new story, a lot if it is nothing like the proper stories of old... so just go with it I guess

What i find annoying is that Nimueh is evil when trully she and Merlin were lovers!!! not enemies. In the legends he and Nimueh had very passionate love relationships.
