Hillsong worship leader Michael Guglielmucci lied to sell records and sell himself on "preaching" tours.
People could not tell that the agressive cancer was not finally catching up with him, instead he was employed by Hillsong to help sell their records. Hillsong was based on a paedophiles flight from justice and this seed of sin is returned to them over and over...

Is it all about the money? What about those who have given their lives to Christ through Hillsong? What about the work they do in their community such as in London? What about the songs that are sung all over the world and have blessed the body of Christ? Sure it may be possible that its leaders are none too great but some good comes from their work, actually a lot of good.

I know they attract a lot of people because ..in my opinion..they water down the message and add lights and action,to increase recruitment..rather than trying to teach truth.

A recent survey by a christian research group in Australia found that at Hillsong they loose over 50% of their members every 5 years.....It was noted that most of their recruits come from other churches and when they left.. they left Christianity for good...approx 15000 people in the last 5 years..

1.I dont like the leaders of this church that are using people for their own personal wealth and power..but I dont hate you or anyone at the church and I know many people there are decent honest Christians... I dont agree the over hyped emotion driven message of the this church, but I understand it as it is mentioned in the bible about people being mislead for the sake of money and building kingdoms on earth..Hillsong is an end times false church and is leading people away from the truth.

2.I have spoken to a person who travelled back with Brian and he/she spoke of more than $5000 cash in his hand carry from a "love offering"..

And why do the Houstons need "love offerings"?? isnt it enough to be spreading the word..Dont they trust Jesus to provide??

The "Love offering" is a scam..the church being visited pays for 1st class tickets..(and to the US that would be $20K) plus 5 star accommodation..say another $2K...then pay say 5-10K in offerings...

Is this a fair estimate?

3.This is just a way the ministers use to skim the spending money from each other....Isnt it strange that Brian will speak at a church and then the minister of that church will come to Hillsong.. Paying the pastor $30K bonus would look bad but if you let someone else pay you..it doesnt come up as a wage..its manipulation of the finances to steer church money into the ministers pockets..

People make mistakes. God knows whose going to do what before we do. God says forgive and judge not lest ye be judged. You can't harbor anger. You have to forgive and move on otherwise you as a Christian will never grow. Mike made a huge mistake...but he's going to be held accountable for what he's done as will we all.

@stephjh2006 So true. As the bible says 'the end justifies the means'. When it comes to spreading the gospel 'do what ever it takes'. We need to evangelise the whole earth. Pastor Mike never wanted to have cancer (especially cos he already had porn addiction), but he took it onboard and still proclaimed the name of Jesus. When God took the cancer away - poor Mike was left helpless.. and wrote the wonderful song 'healer'. Mike is a testament to how we should all live our lives.

He does not "endorse" any of that you spoke of. Besides, how can you place a label on a God you don't believe exists? Why bash the One you dont believe in?You do follow and worship something, and yours is way more contradictory. You follow the art of not following and worship not worshipping. But aren't you beng gullable to skepticism? You wouldnt accept Christ if He showed up at your doorstep because truly instead of not believing in God, you love to hate God, and I can tell by you trying to judge His actions in Scripture. Love comes from God sending His only Son. Humility comes from His Son stepping down from a throne to a cross and exchanging a crown of righteousness to a crown of thorns.

@Mpeezy56 - there are manuscripts, archaeology, prophecies and statistics that can 'prove' any religion - so long as you have faith in that particular religion's deity and associated dogma.

Atheism is the correct mindset because we are all born Atheist.

Believe it or not, we WELCOME the existance of a god or gods. You or he/she just has to prove it now and we will believe.

Until then, I'm sorry - but 'faith' is tantamount to gullability.

@Mpeezy56 - yes that's nice. Other religions say a lot of bullshit things about their claims of 'correctness' and 'truth' too. Yours is no exception. Quoting bible verses doesn't persuade the skeptical mind (though it does make for a good belly laugh).

So have you anything original to say? Any extra-biblical evidence for the above passages? Anything that could be considered evidence to support your claims for the existance of this deity, Yahweh, and his Jewish kid?
