  • 'I Was A Teenage Werewolf' was great and Micahel Landon put in an excellent performance. The costume looked decent and some shots, like the upside POV shot, were very original. '...Frankenstein' wasn't as good, but it had it's moments and the color ending, which was in a few other films at the time, would bump it up a few notches. They're both worth watching and '...Werwolf' is worth owning.

  • 1276epr... overall, yeah, I think the make up wasn't too bad. I just seemed to enjoy "Werewolf" moreso than "Frankenstein". For drive-in teen flicks, both are still pretty entertaining.

  • @notredamehesamighty I can't remember the story line after all these years....probably inane. but I saw them when they came out....don't you think the makeup job in Teenage Frankenstein was pretty effective for its day?

  • Teenage Werewolf was actually okay... Teenage Frankenstein not so much. And what's with the color portion at the end of Frankenstein?

  • what i create i must control

    so cheesy

  • I wish TMC would run these films. I've never seen Teenage Frankenstein, but Ive got Teenage Werewolf on vhs. it's uh ok for a schlock quickie shot on a weekend lol.

  • Those must've been awesome to see at the drive-ins back in the 50's....

No, Edward D. Wood jr. had nothing to do w/ American International Pictures. And BTW, I think you meant producer Sam Arkoff.

  • Ed Woods Jr helped form AIP, and you see his influence here with gothic horror and teenage delinquency mix.

He just couldn't stay sober, so eventually one of his biggest fans, producer Abramoff had to fire him.
