When I plug my Uno into the computer, nothing shows up.. . like it doesn't tell me "One MIDI has been detected" :/ I have the same cord by the way!

For my guitar i have a 1/4 inch cable to usb, could i use this for my keyboard too?

@croan08 This unit is for keyboards without USB outputs.

G'day mate from Sydney Australia! loving your vid's, I have an urgent problem, I need to connect a set of Roland V Drums to garageband, I have an M-Audio Fast Track Pro, I have the cable in the out of the drums and in the back of the m-audio but no joy! HELP!
PS I just picked up a Fender Telecaster Deluxe yesterday, awesome guitar.

So are there different types of MIDI cables that I should be aware of. Would some not fit into certain midi ports?
