  • I know, you're so right. I held onto those straight ends for quite awhile, knowing that I should have cut them a long time ago. but I had so much growth that I was reluctant to cut my hair again. finally admitting to myself that they are doing more harm then good to me (lol) I just let them go! thank u and thanks for watching!

  • aww, that is so crazy. I'm sry that we had to experience heat damaged. Other people's hair can take it, but our hair can not. :(. the first time I straighten my hair I did fine, but the last time, I made the mistake of flat ironing my hair every other day for a week!!!! but I posted another vid showing the pieces of hair that I cut off!

  • Hey Luvie,Im sorry 4 your heat damage. I can see how thin it has made your hair. Your roots look really full its your ends that look very thin and see thru. I jus cut a great deal of my hair and it was hard 2 do!! My ends were really bad and I jus looked @ it like this... those thin ends were bad the full part of my hair was the good part!! So I cut it ,now my hair is full all over, kinda short but healthier. Hang in there sis!!

  • i got heat damage also. ive only been natural for 1 year. I wanted to do something different so, i went to a dominican salon. I missed my fro so i washed it 3 days later. it did not revert back to the fro and i was so upset. i spent $45 to get my hair straightened and $15 to get it all cut off 4 days later. I'LL NEVER STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR AGAIN!! I'm glad i learned my lesson early in my journey though. I STILL have straight pieces. I'll have to wait about 4 months to get rid of the rest. MUCH LUV
