What gear did u do ur burn out in? And what rpm did u launch at?

In 1st gear. I never tried 2nd or any other.

The rev limiter was bumped up from stock 6,250rpm to 7,000rpm. I never took it to 7,000 though. I would launch hard at 6,000rpm and shift always at 6,500rpm. I had the msd digital programmable shift light. It helps. Its not good to hit the rev limit with the blower, thats why my tuner bumped it up to 7,000 to keep me from hitting the limiter at 6,250rpm.

No problem. I sold the car though :(

But I'm a mechanic and did all the work myself. Installs Etc. so I got to figure out what works best. I learned to drive it pretty well at the track. I had a N/A 2005 before this one. and was running mid 12's Naturally Aspirated

@ducati2012 You hate nicely behind a computer. No not rich but nicely compensated for the work I do. Not my opinion but tall very nice looking man (dark hair, colored eyes and fit) and nicely endowed (according to my women). Yes I do get almost any woman I want. @65FALCONSG Parents here buy there kids Vipers and Vettes, my Saleen Extreme is 725HP STOCK, with forged internals cabable of a lot more power. I like my Saleen becuase I only see 1 once a month, but a vette I see everyday. Also 08 vettes and Viper go for only 25-40k used. Your not rich and you have nothing worth over 100k together, neither do I though. But i think you maybe trying to make up for something, maybe a fat wife? small dick? Maybe your just downright ugly? Do you look like a rooster?

@65FALCONSG Wow you must be a senior citizen with knowledge of a 2 year old. Your 08 vette stock CANT TAKE a 11 GT500. Its stock 12.5-12.7, hmmm like a 5.0. I like vettes but a higher end model, but where I live you think a vette will turn heads ROFL. A vette here is was high schooler and chicks drive, we have Masserati's, Ferraris, Lambos and Porsches along with a few Bugattis and Bentleys. You would be laughed at thinking a silly viper or vette would make someone turn, you fake ass fuck.

@ducati2012 You bought an over-weight over priced Mustang if you bought a Saleen. You got taken..... Buy a Vette or Viper if really want to turn heads and not just the heads of teen age boys and young girls. Viper won LeMans a few years back and Corvette won it's class a LeMans recently. You speak with emotion and not facts. My stock regular 08 Vette even beats 50K GT500's why? Because the Stang is over weight and fat....... Wake up, guy.

@ducati2012 I have a Viper as well. You just don't get it or refuse to understand that Stangs are for teenagers. It's not my opinion but just common knowledge that a Corvette is a higher class car right off the assembly line than a Camaro or Stang.

@65FALCONSG As well get off your magazine specs, there are wrong, they say the Z06 does low 12s, but people are doing mid 11s. So get out in the real world and find out a stock 08 vette could get beat by, and btw I had a 09 Z06 and traded it for a Saleen extreme, so stop cheerleading for Chevrolet. Let me know how the NEW V6 Vette will be soon, I cant wait to smoke that POS.

@65FALCONSG Not really, I have a Mustang Saleen Extreme, and I would prefer the mustang over a vette, the vette has old interior and the new interior is not as great as well. I know you can modify anything but for 50k I would not buy a vette, a GT500 though I would. I think your ignorant because your saying a person with a Mustang wants a vette, well thats like saying you couldnt afford a Viper a Z06 or ZR1 so your but hurt about your lame cay buying decision.

@ducati2012 Weak argument...... You can modify anything to run even 8's! The bottom line is most Stang owner would rather own a Vette if they could buy one. I could modify my Vette to run 10's as well and then some! The Vette is a better lighter platform to build a real sportscar. The roadracers are amazing and have had way more success at LeMans and many North American road race track, etc. as well. I am not anti-Ford, I love my 65 Ford Falcon I am just telling you facts which you cant see.
